My Daily Plate has four sections:

TODAY’S PLATE
- Filling your plate at each meal is quick and easy. Just tap the food group, item, and quantity.
- The plate clears itself at midnight so you can start fresh the next morning.
- A healthy way to monitor everything you eat in the course of a day.
- Enter the water you drink in your preferred unit of measurement, but see equivalent amounts in other units.

MY PROGRESS
- Track your progress visually instead of deciphering lots of figures.
- Check and see how you did the previous day.
- Get an average of progress of the last 7 days.
- Get an overall average of the recorded days since the date of your first entry.
- View your daily average calories.

HISTORY
- Export your data to a CSV file (comma delimited) and send to your personal trainer or dietician.
- Review your eating habits on a specific day.
- Edit any existing entry.
- Add a previous entry you forgot to make.

SETTINGS
- View the daily calorie goal recommended by the USDA based on your profile information.
- Set your daily calorie goal based on your preference or personal trainer/dietician’s guidance.
- Set your preferred units of measurement for water intake. (fl oz, mL, L, pt, c)
- Enable/disable the alert message when you reach a specific daily goal.
- Delete all the entries in your database to wipe the slate clean and start again.

Love it .. It helps me keep my calories which keep me on track with diet..
Completely awesome!!! I wish you could change the recommended water intake. Due to the fact I live in Arizona and need to drink more water because of the heat here.
I wish you could manually add things but other than that its pretty awesome
I like the idea but would like a feature to allow for customization of the macronutrients categories. Or at least something telling me how much of each category makes it "complete". How much protein is the app suggesting I ought to eat every day?
Just what I was looking for an app that focuses on daily nutrition not just weight loss. Wish it had more options of foods and not just healthy foods, it makes it harder to track calorie intake.

Some bad moments

You cant add anything that isnt on here if you need to cause the calorie counts to be off. Junk food or unnecessary items that dont "pertain" to the 5 food groups arent on any lists minimizing what you can really pick. There are no meals either. I had lasagna today and if I want to even add that to record my calories then I need to make sure I know how much of each ingredient I ate that makes that lasagna. Not worth the 99¢ that you pay for it and any other free dieting and calorie counting app will do what this app does and more. If youre adamant about using choose my plate, I suggest you use the supertracker that comes online because this one wont help you.
My dietician recommended the choose your plate website to track my food intake through pregnancy. I was excited to see the app. Unfortunately the app is not useful. The food is very limited. You cannot even find pizza on it. Also you cannot update the nutrition recommendations for being pregnant. I am really disappointed I spent money on this. The app could really be improved by adapting the features of the website.
No place to add fats or sugars. Forget paying the 99 cents and just use the supertracker online version rather than this app. You can set up an account and have many more choices to add.
Hate this app that I paid .99 for. Cant track anything other than what is listed
The food selection is okay, but you cant customize anything. I wanted to change the amount of food I ate and it wouldnt allow me to. I also wanted to set limits on my protein consumption and it didnt give me that option. The breakdown of what foods youre eating is great but its so simple you dont know what type of carb youre eating or what percentage you are at. I am very disappointed.
Total waste of money! The food selections are way too super limited. Cant even change the calories of anything. I cant drink milk so where is almond milk??? No coffee creamer - please dont waste your time or money- super dissatisfied
